September 13-14, 2008 Reno-Fernley Race
The American Racing Club will hold its last two races of the season at at Reno-Fernley Raceway this weekend. This is a double points event, counting twice what the other races are for the year! It'll be a full weekend event, with practice, qualifying and racing both days. Lunch will be provided. Crucial to logistics is that all racers must have ARC certifications before the event. John Ascuaga's Nugget RegistrationDrivers new to ARC should check the requirements before registering, and ensure they will have a certificate by race day. We are currently accepting sign-ups for this event on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $170 for one day, $340 for the weekend for members. Non-members add $10 per day. As of Feb 1, 2006, we've modified our cancellation policy as follows. If you cancel two weeks before the event, we give a full refund. Within two weeks of the event, we credit half of your event payment to a future event, but as of 48 hours before the day the event begins there are NO refunds or credits given. This includes multiple day events, even if your car breaks the morning of day one. We'll feel bad for you since we truly want you to enjoy what you paid for. However, we must cover the costs of the event that are fully committed once the event starts, or there won't be an ARC in the future. This is a generous policy among track clubs. All ARC credits are held with us for two years before they expire, so you have plenty of time to use them. Rain is typically handled by the track itself, not by ARC. Typical policy is that the track holds the event, rain or shine, unless there is an unsafe condition or damage at the track. If the event is cancelled due to rain, ARC will refund whatever portion of the total costs we can recoup. |
