Buttonwillow Event

Norm 12-29-2007, 8:35 PM
Hi,
I am planning to attend both days at Buttonwillow. I have not driven there before. Do you know which track configuration(s) will be run and which directions? The Buttonwillow site indicates many possibilities. Does anyone know web locations of in track videos of the appropriate configuration?
Thanks,
Norm

Norm, We have run both ways over the years, full tracks. However, ccw video I used and helped a lot was from www.maximummotorsports.com  click on "at the track", then ride in their shop car at BW. Also go to our forums "Event Chat" posted 07-11-07 by A. Weber, BW video. Don't recall any cw. The track is fairly easy to learn quicky and has good run off.

Thanks Mike. I am guessing "full course" does not include the extra kink by Turn 2 AKA Off Ramp. The Dog Leg is not included, and the Bus Stop is included. Lost Hill would be included as well as Star Mazda Turn. The Sweeper would not be included. Did I guess right? Happy New Year, Norm

Yeah, depends which way and which track. On the BW track web-site the two tracks we usually run is Race #1 CW (includes extra kink, near off ramp and incl sweeper) and Race #13 CCW (off ramp and no sweeper). Lost Hill is in both. Just as shown in thier web.

Happy New Year's to you too and

All NCRC/ARC Folks!
