Great event

Dave and Luc,

Thanks for putting on a great event. First class all the way. It has been awhile since I made it that far north but the tow was worth it.

Absolutely.  As an instructor, I'm always struck by the amount of time required of Dave, Luc and Alex at these events -- how good a job they do and how little time is left over for them to get to go out and drive.

NCRC and ARC events are probably the best-run I've seen in California.

I second the aboves.

Great event and really enjoyed being part of the Race Group this year. Kudos to you Jack, great job both days. Congrads on being into the ONES (1:59), I know it was the bypass, but that's just great! Maybe someday I'll get my car sorted and try to keep up. I learned one think in Sunday's race, fill your car up with gas (I put 5 gals in before), lost my gas on turn 2, lap 9, shock un-baffled tank I guess, but finished.    June ARC Race to Oct ARC Race is a little too far apart, you think? Get me hooked and make me suffer, but I'll have the TT's to play with.

Anyone find a DynaMax race muffler w/turn-down, fell off somewhere during the TT Sunday and my car became about 120 D making me deaf in the left ear.......thankful it wasn't during the race. This will be addressed, never again I promise. Things shake off and everybody should use locking nuts, etc.

I feel your pain.  Lost muffler parts took me from first place to last place in Saturday's race.

And speaking of deaf, my microphone wasn't plugged in for the entire weekend, so I have a whole lot of silent video on my hands.  I took two fast laps and put them together with the biggest cliche of in-car video, the blaring rock.  Still, if anyone's interested in a virtual ride, this will show you what I was doing:

I had a great time as well.  I managed to drop a couple seconds off my previous best lap times on Saturday, without any significant changes to the car since the last T-Hill event.  I had an oil leak on Sunday morning that saw me packing up early, but that's racing.

I grabbed a lap from my video as well:

A bit too much wind noise, but you get the idea.  Yes, I have a lot of time to think while using all of my 80hp down the front straight.

Sidney
I didn't see you there Saturday, so I'm assuming the answer to Mike's question is you'd like to have them all. I bet Alex will post them soon, but here they are for Saturday (I wasn't there Sunday):
Olsen GT2 2:00.177; Schmidt GT2 2:02.426; Klein EX 2:03.239; Potter GT1 2:07.076; Theodore GT1 2:07.113; Hall GT2 2:10.712; Corr GT2 2:11.591; Plumley GT2 2:13.470; Bonessa GT1 2:15.379; Hartman GT4 2:17.191

Sidney, Here is Sunday's, CCW w/Cyclone:

Olsen GT2/2:02.72; Leaver GT1/2:03:76; Thomas GT3/2:12.4; Hall GT2/2:12.5; Corr GT2/2:12.9; Bloch GT1/2:14.1; Plumley GT2/2:14.3

I guess I was wore out, 3 seconds slower than Race Event or due to muffler coming off, who knows!

Saturday was w/bypass, about 2 sec faster.

Chris, that's a great lap.  You're throwing that little car all over the place.  Yes [Y]
