Justin Hall, of Davis, Calif., earned two awards in his No. 12 DIG Motorsports/JustRacing.com BMW 325Ci—the B&M Shifters Holeshot Award for advancing 10 positions on the first lap and the Sunoco Hard Charger Award for advancing from 34th on the grid to finish 17th. Hall might have finished higher, but had to report to the pits for a stop-and-go penalty for a pass under yellow.

 That's our Justin Hall,

 Good job Justin!

I took a ride with Justin at TH in a Radical, he gets your attention real quick, I remember a pass on the inside of a Ferrari going into turn 5 and I know there was not enough room but we made it. I don't think he knows what a brake pedal is.

After a couple of  laps we were at the apex of turn 7 when a Miata decided  to occupy the same spot and hit the Radical in the rear passenger  wheel and we went spinning of the track.

Sort of interesting as you spin and see cars coming towards you every couple of seconds and you wonder who might run into you.

I am glad  to have purchased a full blown race car with lots of protection around me.

Did you guys catch the race on Speed yesterday?  Justin started 7th and blew by not only the 3rd row but Altenburg and Posbst in the 2nd row and was 3rd going up the hill to T-2 !!!  Unbelievable !!!   Then he was all over 2nd place PD Cunningham of all people.  No respect !!! Stick out tongue [:P]  Now being fast around us is no big deal and dominating Spec Miata is pretty good, but pulling those shennanigans with real race veterans like Pobst, well..............what can I say?  Whisper [:-*]  Too bad, he's not 10 years younger.
