Welcome to the new American Racing Club and Northern California Racing Club Message Forums!
If you're coming here the first time, or migrating from the old board, we apologise but you will need to create a new account, and all old postings will not show up here.
We encourage NCRC and ARC members to sign-up for the NCRC's message board. There are some rules that are expected to be followed, which are described below. We take the few simple rules seriously, expecting them to be followed.
The purpose of this message board is to discuss track events, driving, mechanical/technical topics, and general fun with cars primarily around NCRC and ARC events. It's an online social forum for ARC/NCRC members, but others are welcome to join in, as long as the discussions are in-line with the spirit of what was just described and the rules are followed.
- Your full and correct name needs to appear somewhere in each post. Either have your full, correct name displayed as the 'display name' in your profile, or put it in your signature block. We want to know who you are, not your only your pseudonym, because it promotes the social component when we meet face-to-face at the track.
- Keep profanity to a minimum. Some people don't mind it, some people do. Lets just try to be courteous, but it's understand able how things can slip out on occasion.
- Do not post pornography on this msg board.
- Spirited discussions are encouraged. Degrading someone or making personal attacks are not acceptable types of behavior. Be civil.
- Do not hijack this board for your own selfish reasons, *especially* if you're not a ARC/NCRC member. This means advertising your business, your products (unless you're a sponsor), etc. We have enough commercials in our daily life, and probably don't want yours. If you have questions where the line might be with this rule, just send Dave or Luc a note and we'll gladly help.
If you have questions or concerns, feel free to post in the appropriate forum or send a note to Dave or Luc.
Thanks, and happy posting.
Dave and Luc
